There’s a tightness in his chest as he stares into the crowd of people. A sense of PROUD, but also nervousness beings to overwhelm him. ❝ I’m here to give a small speech to my son, ❞ The redhead glances over to the blond, a small smile residing on the younger’s face. ❝ I remember the day you first came out to me. It was a long time ago, yet it feels just like yesterday when you told me. I was HAPPY you felt comfortable enough to share that information with me. & here I stand, before familiar & new faces, at your own wedding. I somehow always knew I would be attending my own child’s weeding before my own. ❞ A slight chuckle leaves his lips before taking a sip of the bubbly substance in hand. ❝ But, in all honesty, I’m so proud of you, Hayden. I’m glad I’ve come this far to finally see you come all this way to soon start a family of your own. Here’s a toast, for Hayden, & his new found life with his partner ! ❞
